Tree Survey (OTISS)

Tree Survey (OTISS) Conduct Tree Safety and Risk Assessment Surveys (OTISS).

This application is used by professional Arboricultural Consultants to carry out Tree Safety and Risk Assessment Surveys as part of the OTISS system. This app and your GPS-enabled Android phone or tablet are an alternative to purchasing expensive, specialized survey equipment for on-site data collection.

The Tree Survey app works with the website www.otiss.co.uk to provide a range of maps and tools for carrying out tree surveys, tree management surveys and reporting.

All users must first register a norummy cafe account on the OTISS website. A 30-day free trial period is permitted, after which an annual subscription will be charged for continued use of the OTISS system - see the OTISS website for details. Note: This Tree Survey app is free to download, rate and use - there are no charges on your phone or Google accounts.

The OTISS system works as follows. (i) First, a survey is created on the OTISS website. (ii) The Tree Survey app is then used to download the survey to the Android device. (iii) The application is used to carry out the survey by placing trees and furniture at the site on the map and entering inspection data. (iv) The survey data is then synchronized with the OTISS website. (v) The OTISS website provides tools to view, modify, analyze and generate reports on collected inspection data.
